Draught: Rs. 30 crore allowed to 14 districts


PATHANAMTHITTA: Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash on Friday said in a press conference that Rs. 30 crore has been allocated to 14 districts in Kerala for the second phase of draught rehabilitation scheme.

Earlier, Rs. 80 crore was allowed in the first phase. The money allocated per districts is: Thiruvananthapuram-Rs. 2 crore, Kollam-2.3 crore, Pathanamthitta- Rs. 3 crore, Alappuzha- Rs. 2 crore, Kottayam- Rs. 2.5 crore, Ernakulam- Rs. 1.8 crore, Thrissur- Rs. 1.5 crore, Palakkad- Rs. 4.01 crore, Malappuram- Rs. 2 crore, Kozhikode- Rs. 1.6 crore, Wayanad- Rs. 2.1 crore, Kannur- Rs. 1.1 crore, and Kasaragod- Rs. 1.7 crore.
