Letter leakage a violation of party discipline: P.C. George

KOTTAYAM: Even as the letter seeking action against Government Chief Whip P.C. George sent by P.J. Joseph faction to Kerala Congress (M) chief K.M. Mani was leaked and Mani censured party members not to make public statements, George remained unstoppable.

P.C. George on Thursday told Kerala Kaumudi that Joseph group was behind the leakage of letter to media. Sending letter on an issue which was settled earlier is a violation of party discipline, he said. George also said he would ask K.M. Mani to take stringent action on this.

Meanwhile, Mons Joesph said he does not know how the letter got leaked. He went on to say that it is the Chairman who is to take action on the issues pointed out in the letter.

Six general secretaries including MLAs Mons Joseph and T.U. Kuruvila had signed the letter.
