KOCHI: Former gunman of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy Salim Raj was on Thursday questioned by the CBI in connection with the Kalmassery land grab case.
The interrogation took place at the Kochi office of the CBI and it was part of the initial procedures to collect evidence. At present, Salim is not an accused in the Kalamassery land grab case but the CBI claims to have got evidence on the part played by Salim to tamper with the land documents.
Most of the complainants have given statements against Salim and the questioning was based on these statements.
