THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After a two-month-long summer vacation, schools in Kerala reopened Monday with around three lakh tiny tots initiated into the world of learning.
Praveshanotsavams were organized across the state to welcome newcomers to Class 1. The state level inauguration of praveshanotsavam was held at Thrikkulam Govt School in Malappuram by Minister P K Kunhalikutty and was presided over by Minister P K Abdu Rabb.
Teachers welcomed the tiny tots with sweets and toys.
