THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint was lodged with the police here by an RPF official, alleging that she was assaulted by a Nursing superintendent during ticket examination. The official who was attacked has been admitted to hospital. The incident happened on board the Malabar Express Train.
The lady RPF staff told the police that she was assaulted by Kozhikode Medical College hospital superintendent Jemika. The incident happened when the RPF official asked Jemika to show the passenger’s ticket. As she didn’t possess the ticket she was asked to pay the fine. Following this Jemika entered into a heated argument with the lady RPF constable and it ended with Jemika assaulting the constable.
