Renaissance was destroyed on the very next day of women wall, LDF meeting weighs on election debacle

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Evaluating their debacle in the Lok Sabha election, LDF meeting opined that the voters had an assumption about Congress being the alternative for BJP on a national level. There will be action to solve the complaints of the devotees. The LJD explained that women entry at Sabarimala hurt the devotees. Right on the very next day of the women wall, the renaissance was destroyed.

The LDF decided to hold a special meeting to evaluate the govt’s work. A. Vijayaraghavan clarified that the LDF could not overcome the campaigns of UDF and BJP. He also said that the govt’s good work didn’t transform into votes.

Meanwhile, CM Pinarayi Vijayan maintained his words that the govt’s stand on Sabarimala issue was right. He said that there was a misunderstanding amongst the devotees and there will be action to change this.
