THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Electoral Officer Teeka Ram Meena said that the bypolls at six assembly constituencies will be conducted soon. He said that the speaker’s notification has been received and hopefully the bypolls will take place along with the Assembly election. Election Commission will take further decisions on this, he added.
Teeka Ram Meena said that legal advice has been sought regarding Kummanam Rajasekharan’s case against K. Muraleedharan in relation to Vattiyoorkavu bypoll. Hopeful in conducting bypoll without any hurdles as K. Muraleedharan has resigned his MLA position in Vattiyoorkavu, he added.
