Wednesday, 14 December 2011: One more person has been taken into custody in connection with the Kozhikode moral policing incident. The case relates to lynching of a youth Shahid Bava, 27, by a mob at Kodiyathur.The total number of persons arrested is 14. The case relates to a group of persons beating up Shahid with sticks, after tying his hands and legs, on October 10 for allegedly having an affair with a married woman. The victim succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in the city.
