The Chalakkudy police have registered a case against actor Kalabhavan Mani on the basis of a petition filed by a policeman named Umesh.The petitioner alleged that during a Kaavadi procession of a local temple, where he was on traffic duty, he was injured in a scuffle with Kalabhavan Mani and was admitted to a nearby hospital. He also said that the police had to block Kalabhavan Mani's vehicle because of the procession.
