KOCHI: In life, Arun George, 21, was a blessing for his parents. And in death, he helped revive three lives and brought back the vision of two people.The organs of Arun George, who died in a bike accident on Friday, were donated by his parents to Manju, Vinesh and Rajeev Varma who were battling death in different parts of the state.
Arun’s liver was donated to Rajeev Varma, who has been admitted to the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. The 49-year-old Tripunithura resident was suffering from acute cryptogenic cirrhosis. The surgery, 12-hour-long, was headed by Dr Sudheendran.
