Even Kunhalikutty's friends gave me money: VS

KANNUR: Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan has come out with a startling disclosure  that even the friends of  Muslim League leader and Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty have given him money to file cases against the latter.

Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, VS replied to the poser made by the Muslim League leader on the source of the money needed to launch legal battles against him and many others in the UDF.“With people behind me, I have no problem in pursuing the legal battle against corruption and those involved in sex rackets,” said VS. 

The Opposition Leader said that he would later disclose the sources of the money needed to conduct legal battle against the corrupt and the tainted. “But it is certain that Oommen Chandy and Kunhalikutty will never escape from the cases filed by me,” asserted VS. He asked ‘that gentleman’, without mentioning the name of Kunhalikutty, to explain why the Muslim League goondas  attacked mediapersons at the Karipur Airport when he was returning from Mecca after the Haj pilgrimage, in the wake of news reports concerning the ice cream sex scandal. “As he came back from his Haj pilgrimage, Regina, the main victim of the sex racket, was seen explaining to a TV channel headed by a Muslim League leader himself that her life had been spoiled.”VS also came down heavily on the move to describe him as a vexatious litigant by another Congress leader M M Hassan.
