Friday, September 30, 2011: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that a special team under the supervision of IG will probe the attack against the teacher Krishnakumar of the Vallakam RVHS School.
The condition of Krishnakumar under treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital has shown a mild improvement and doctors said there is no need to worry about his health.
Police will file a request at the Thiruvananthapuram CJM court on Friday to record his statements about the incident. The investigation would be headed by Kottarakara Rural SP PTV Prakash.
Kollam Asst Commissioner Ajith, Kollam Rural Admistrative DySP A Shanawaz and Kottarakara DySP K M Anto will probe the attack.
Opposition leader VS Achuthanandhan demanded a CBI probe into the attack in the Assembly. The opposition created an uproar in the Assembly over the incident.
