IUML state secretariat to meet in Kozhikode today

Saturday, September 03, 2011: The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State secretariat meeting would be held in Kozhikode today.
The meeting headed by IUML State president Panakkad Hyder Ali Shihab Thangal would discuss on the demand for an additional berth in the Oommen Chandy Cabinet.

The recent wikileaks revelations that that Minister PK Kunhalikutty had supported NDF activists for personal gains had embarrassed Muslim League.
The additional berth, which if agreed to, will increase the size of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s Council of Ministers to 21. League even announced the name of Manjalamkuzhi Ali for the fifth berth and informed that the portfolio would be finalised after discussions in the UDF.
