KPCC Chief refutes Aryadan’s charges

KOCHI: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala denied the arguments by Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed that the Centre has ignored Kerala so far as railway development is concerned.
On the sidelines of a programme to distribute Onam-kits to INTUC members here on Saturday, Chennithala told reporters that the Centre had been adopting a pro-Kerala stand.He said he was unaware of the situation in which Aryadan made the statement. To discuss the railway development of Kerala, the Chief Minister had gone to meet the Prime Minister, Chennithala said.Union Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies K V Thomas, Benny Behanan MLA, Dominic Presentation MLA, Mayor Tony Chammany, DCC president V J Paulose and INTUC state general secretary K P Haridas also spoke on the occasion.
