Blessy feels the media has a responsibility to bring back cinemagoers to
the theatres whose numbers have shown an “alarming decline” since the
1970s.
“The responsibility to bring back cinema goers to theatres, whose
numbers have fallen sharply since the 70’s and 80’s, rests with the
media, “he told media persons here today.On his latest movie “Pranayam”
starring Mohanlal, Jayapradha and Anupam Kher, he said,
“It is an intense, intimate exploration of a women’s mind, of love
won and lost, of pain and passion. “Blessy, who has directed hit movies
like “Bhramaram”, “Thanmatra” and “Kazhcha”, said romance is eternal and
present in everyone’s heart.
