UDF trying to blackmail judiciary, alleges Pinarayi

Saturday, September 10, 2011: Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan alleged here on Saturday that the UDF was trying to blackmail the judiciary.
Speaking to the reporters here, Pinarayi added that Government chief whip PC George had filed a complaint against the Vigilance Court Judge P.K Haneefa, with the consent of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
In a letter send to President Pratibha Devisingh Patel and Supreme Court Chief Justice, PC George alleged that the probe was ordered into the Palmolein graft case without following the usual procedures.
The judge was deliberately trying to make Chief Minister Oommen Chandy an accused in the case, the letter alleged.
