Kunhalikutty today said that Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan’s move
to file a plea in the High Court seeking CBI probe into ice cream case
was aimed at creating a smoke screen ahead of party conferences.
Speaking to the reporters here on Saturday, Minister added that
Achuthanandan had been raising unnecessary allegations against him for
the past 15 years. VS must first of all respond to several allegations
raised against his son VA Arunkumar including his appointment as the
director of ICT academy, he added.
Meanwhile Minister MK Muneer also opined that Achuthanandan’s move
was part of “blackmail politics”. Speaking to the reporters here on
Saturday, Minister added that Achuthanandan’s stand does not suit his
profile and political status.
