Wednesday, October 5, 2011: VR Krishna Iyer, head of the Commission
on the Rights and Welfare of Women and Children, has said that the
commission will not call back any of its recommendations in the face of
opposition.
Iyer said that the commission would not run away when faced with
criticisms. It would fight all the criticisms levelled against its
recommendations, he said.
