Naxal leader Thettamala Krishnankutty no more

WAYANAD: Naxal leader Thettamala Krishnankutty(84)  who had led the revolution along with leaders Varghese and Ajitha in the forests of Wayanad succumbed to old age at his house in Thrissileri.

A good part of his life had been in exile and jails for long periods.

Having realised that murder of individuals is not a part of true revolution, he had been staying away from the party ideologies since his release from prison.

He had taken part in the Goa Liberation Movement.

He was fighting for its pension but was not lucky enough to receive the sanctioning order of the same which had been issued.

A voracious reader and writer, he has published many articles and books.

He leaves behind his wife Kamala, son Manoj and two daughters Mini and Shaji.

As per his last wish, his corpse will be given to the medical college.
