Nelliyampathy land scam: Vigilance probe against Mani


THRISSUR: The Thrissur Vigilance court ordered a probe against Finance minister K M Mani regarding the pledging of five estates in Nelliyampathy. The role of govt chief vippe P C George will also be investigated.

The order was issued by Vigilance judge V Bhaskaran on a petition filed by Malayala Vedi chairman George Vattukulam and social activist Joseph stated that K M Mani and P C George had a role in pledging forest land and encroachment.

The petition also alleged that Mani, who was in charge, did not take action against the Advocate General who did not appear in the HC in connection with the Nelliyampathy issue.
