Arrested on murder charge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the underworld-linked murder of one Saji near Nedungadu last week. Circle Inspector Sheen Tharayil identified the accused as “Chenda” Manu alias Manu V R. The police arrested him minutes after he entered the international airport here to board a flight to Dubai. The prosecution case was that a gangland feud between Choozhattupettah Ambili and Soju, both alleged gangleaders, had resulted in Saji’s murder.
