‎2.5 crores have passed since vaccination, including dose 1 and 2; 5.79 lakh more doses available‎

Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George today said more than 2.55,20,478 doses of vaccine have been given to more than 2.55,20,478 people in the state, including dose 1 and 2.‎ ‎Of these, 1,86,82,463 were given first dose vaccine and 68,38,015 were given second dose vaccine. According to the 2021 projected population of Rs.3.54 crore, 52.69 per cent were given first dose and 19.31 per cent were given second dose. According to the population above 18 years of age, 64.98 per cent have been given first dose and 23.82 per cent have been given second dose.‎


‎The state has also got 5,79,390 doses of vaccine. 480,000 doses of covidshield  vaccine and 99,390 doses of Covacin are available. The dose covidshield vaccine was 1,63,000 in Thiruvananthapuram, 1,88,000 in Ernakulam and 1,29,000 in Kozhikode and 33,650 in Thiruvananthapuram, 26,610 in Ernakulam and 39130 in Kozhikode.‎ ‎Today, 2,71,578 people have been vaccinated as part of the vaccination mission in the state. There were 1443 vaccination centres, including 1,108 government centres and 3345 private centres.‎ ‎Meanwhile, in the state, the Covid cases have crossed 20,000 even today. In Kerala today, 21,116 people have been confirmed as Covid-19. The disease was confirmed in the districts today at 2873, Malappuram 2824, Ernakulam 2527, Kozhikode 2401, Palakkad 1948, Kollam 1418, Kannur 1370, Alappuzha 1319, Thiruvananthapuram 955, Kottayam 925, Pathanamthitta 818, Wayanad 729, Kasargod 509 and Idukki 500.‎
