‎35 per cent of people are affected by covid from their homes; Health Minister wants to remain alert‎

‎Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister V George said the number of covid cases is increasing from households in the state. The Minister said that the health department's study shows that nearly 35 per cent of people are infected from their homes. If a man comes to the house, everyone in the house gets a covid. The Minister also said that this is because the home quarantine provisions are not strictly followed.‎

quate facilities in their homes should be in the home quarantine. DcCs are still available to those who do not have such facilities. Those living in the home quarantine should not leave the room. Everyone at home should wear masks. No one else should use the utensils or goods used by the patient. Occasionally wash your hands with soap. ‎At the same time, a major increase has been reported in the kovid cases due to grave concern in the state. More than 31,000 people were diagnosed in the state yesterday following concessions for Onam celebrations. The number of patients in Ernakulam and Thrissur is over 4000. In three districts, patients are over 2,000. The test positivity rate in the state yesterday was above 19. The death toll also jumped. Today alone, more than 200 deaths have been confirmed as being caused by Covid.‎
