Govt files plea against HC order in liquor policy

NEW DELHI: The state government filed a plea in the Supreme Court against the Kerala High Court order nullifying crucial clauses in the liquor policy announced by it. The plea stated that the court has no right to interfere in the policy related decisions of the government.  The court cancelled the clause saying that hereafter bar licences would be given only to hotels coming above four star hotels.
