SC permits VS to withdraw plea
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court permitted opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to withdraw the plea filed before the Supreme Court alleging that the investigation in the land allocation case against him was not moving in the right direction.
He withdrew the plea following legal advice to approach the high court.
The pleas of his relative T K Soman and a member of his personal staff Suresh are under the consideration of the court.
