PM to inaugurate Emerging Kerala on Sept 12

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will inaugurate Emerging Kerala-2012 in Kochi on September 12. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said Emerging Kerala-2012 has already generated good response and the registration for the event has already crossed 2000. The event will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister at 1130 hrs on the day, he added. Besides Emerging Kerala 2012, the Prime Minister will attend three more programmes in Kerala, which are at Kerala Kalamandalam in Thrissur at 1600 hrs on September 11, and two programmes on the next day, which would be the foundation stone laying of Kochi Metro and the 50th anniversary of journalist union.
