Collectors shifted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet decided to shift Kollam Collector P G Thomas to Pathanamthitta and Kasaragod Collector V N Jitendran to Kollam. Higher Secondary Director P S Mohammed was posted as the new collector of Kasaragod. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that a search committee headed by the Chief Secretary had been appointed to select the new state police chief. Special Secretary (Forest) P K Mohanty was appointed as Secretary (Parliamentary Affairs). Principal Secretary (Local Self-Government) James Varghese was given additional charge of Forests.
