KOCHI: Kerala High Court has again postponed the consideration of review petition filed by the CBI in the Lavalin case. The court today postponed the case to November 9, which is also to buy time for Addtiional Solicitor General to appear in the case.
The CBI today put forth the suggestion that the case be taken up after October 29 as the additional solicitor required time to study the case. After this submission, the court postponed the case to November 9. Earlier also, the CBI had made similar request three times, citing the same reason.
The CBI had given the review petition against the CBI court order acquitting the accused including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Lavalin case.
Last June, the CBI had given petition to postpone the case by one month and now this the fourth time it is pleading for postponement.
