THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Assembly proceedings were stalled by the Opposition today also over the self-financing college issue. The session was adjourned in the day. Though V T Balram MLA had given a notice for adjournment motion, the speaker denied permission for it.
The Opposition made a strong criticism against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala alleged that the chief minister was acting like an autocrat. Pinarayi was not showing not even 1/10th of the democratic discipline shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both the the Opposition leader and chief minister, however, hailed the Indian army for their successful surgical operationaretaliation on terrorists in the Pak Occupied Kashmir.
