ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellapally Natesan has said that the BDJS’ relationship with the BJP has been a loss-making business. But BDJS president and Vellapally’s son Thushar Vellapally has contradicted the above statement.
“State BJP should have used pressure to get certain things get done for the BDJS but it is very weak,” Vellapally told media persons before the SNDP yogam council meeting.
“There also people who are dissatisfied with the BJP leadership. Since the relationship has hit a rough part, it should be solved for good,” he added.
Meanwhile, Thushar Vellapally, who met media persons after that told media persons that the relationship with the BJP is not a loss-making business. “What is there now is technical issues, which will be solved through discussions,” he clarified.
BJP has given clarification: Kummanam.
BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan said today in Kozhikode that the BJP had clarified its stand in the case of BDJS. “Now it is the BDJS which has to take a decision. And, there is nothing unusual about Natesan’s meeting with the chief minister,” he added.
