Saturday, September 03, 2011: Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau
(VACB) officials on Saturday arrested a panchayat official in
Kozhencherry on charges of receiving bribe.
The accused has been identified as Kozhencherry Panchayat Secretary
Muraleedharan. The tainted amount of Rs 75,000 was also recovered from
the accused, sources said.
