Achuthanandan, who met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan here, told reporters he apprised him of the complaint lodged by George against the Judge and sought action against the UDF Chief Whip.
"I will submit a written complaint to Governor against George on the matter,"Achuthanandan said and alleged that the government was trying to scuttle the case.
Achuthanandan had yesterday demanded George's resignation for "abuse of power".
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC had already distanced themselves from George's complaint, stating that neither the party nor UDF had anything to do with it.
George last week in a complaint to the President and Supreme Court Chief Justice had questioned the directive of the Judge to order a probe into the alleged role of Oommen Chandy, who was Finance Minister in the K Karunakaran cabinet which had taken a decision on the import, allegedly causing Rs 2.32 crore loss to the state exchequer.
Meanwhile, George stuck to his complaint and said he would"go as per law at any length"on the matter.
The complaint was filed not as Chief Whip or as member of the Assembly, but as a citizen of the country, he said.
George denied the charge that he had showed disrespect to the judiciary and rejected the Opposition demand for his resignation.
