Saturday, November 26, 2011: The Thiruvananthapuram CJM Court has today directed for the submission of call details of former Minister and Kerala Congress (B) leader R Balakrishna Pillai after he was involved in conversations with a private channel reporter over the mobile phone while undergoing prison term.The Court has directed to submit both the incoming as well as the out going call details of Pillai before December 30.
The conversations were made on September 29 when R. Krishnakumar, a teacher at a school under the management of Pillai, at Valakam near Kottarakkara, was attacked.
Pillai had spoken to the reporter on condition that he would not be quoted as he was not supposed to speak to the media over phone since he was undergoing imprisonment. The channel, however, aired the telephonic talk made from the hospital.
