211 police officers have quotation-mafia relations
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The unholy relationship between Kerala Police and quotation-mafias has been brought to light, thanks to the intelligence probe ordered by DGP Jacob Punnose.
The report of the intelligence wing says that 211 police officers ranging from Sub Inspector to Superintendent of Police have connections with quotation-mafias. Here are the numbers: SP-3; DySP-48; CI-58; SI-102.
Most of the police officers belong to Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kannur, Thrissur, and Kollam districts.
