Explosive materials seized in Kozhikode

Sunday, May 13, 2012: The police have seized a huge cache of explosive materials and bomb making materials from a secluded house near Onchiyam here on Sunday.
The explosives were recovered after labourers engaged in cleaning operations discovered it and brought it to the notice of police. According to the sources, the police have unearthed 2 kilograms of gunpowder, 10 pipes and several lids used for making bombs.
A case has been registered under the Explosive Substances Act, police said.
