KSEB worker electrocuted

KASARAGOD: K Reji, 35, a casual worker attached to the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) got electrocuted when he tried to fix a snag on an electric post at Plachikara, under the Beemadi electrical section. Reji clambered up the post after reportedly getting a telephonic message from the engineer concerned stating that the line had been switched off for carrying out the work. Power Minister Aryadan Mohammed, in the district as part of the United Democratic Front's Sneha Sandesha Yatra, visited the district hospital, Kanhangad, where the body was kept.
