THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A person was arrested for shouting provocative slogans against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in front of his office on Wednesday evening.
Sunil Philip,39, who belongs to Vattapara, was apprehended by the Chief Minister’s security personnel when he raised slogans against the Chief Minister.
According to Cantonment police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening.
The person was nabbed by the security personnel and handed over to the Cantonment police.
But Sunil Philip, whom the police said was a medical doctor by profession, was later released on station bail as it was revealed that he has been suffering from mental stress.
