No quick action against VS

NEW DELHI: No quick disciplinary action will be taken against opposition leader V S Achuthanandan for his harsh criticism against the party state secretary. The state leadership has informed the central leadership that if quick teps are taken against him, it would affect the party badly as the Neyyatinkara bypolls are nearing.  CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan had a telephonic conversation with party general secretary Prakash Karat.


The state leadership if of the opinion that if quick steps are taken against him, the party may lead to a split. As VS is a member of the central committee, they would convene and take a decision. A quick decision before that will not favour the bypoll in Neyyatinkara.
