Pinarayi refuses to comment on V.S’ remarks

Sunday, May 13, 2012: CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today refused to comment on party veteran V S Achuthandan’s statement against him.
He said the media need not worry if he was being compared with S.A Dange.
Pinarayi, who was in Neyyattinkara to attend party meets as part of the bypolls said that he would respond to the controversies later.
‘ UDF will be uprooted in Neyyattinkara. The people are ready for the Neyattinkara by-polls. The anti-people emotions against the UDF Government will favour LDF’, he said.
Talking to reporters at Thiruvananthapuram earlier Achuthanandan had said that it cannot be seen that all the views of the party State Secretary are the official stand of the party because the CPI(M) is not like the Congress that has a party high command.
