Rift between Ganesh Kumar, Pillai widens further
Wednesday, May 02, 2012: Making it clear that time is running out for his son and state minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar to “correct himself”, Kerala Congress (B) chairman R. Balakrishna Pillai said that his party was not ready for any pact with Ganesh.
Addressing the presspersons here on Wednesday, Pillai added that Ganesh Kumar is not following the conditions put forward during the compromise talks chaired by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
The committee of Kerala Congress (B), a constituent of Congress-led UDF, presided over by R. Balakrishna Pillai, had expelled Ganesh Kumar from his position as vice chairman of the party.
Party leaders criticised the style of functioning of the Minister. The Minister was not keeping in touch with the party workers and informing them of his engagements at various places. He was also not consulting the party on important matters.
Some leaders even went to the extent saying that Ganesh Kumar has not done anything good for the party and the party does not need such a Minister.
