Special team to probe ex-CPM leader’s murder


Saturday, May 05, 2012: State Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan today informed that a special team will conduct an investigation into the gruesome murder of former Kerala CPM leader T P Chandrasekharan.
Addressing the reporters here on Saturday, Minister added that the probe team would be headed by Vadakara rural SP T.K Rajmohan and the probe would be monitored by ADGP Vincent M Paul.
In a shocking incident in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, Chandrasekharan, who was expelled from the party a few years back, was hacked to death by unidentified assailants.
The incident took place at Vallikkad in Kozhikode district on Friday night. Chandrasekharan, 50, was riding a bike when he was attacked by the assailants.
The assailants first hurled country-made bombs at him and then hacked him when he fell off the motorcycle.
