Friday, May 11, 2012: UDF candidate R. Selvaraj has on Friday filed his nomination papers for the forthcoming June 2nd by-election to the Neyyattinkara assembly constituency.He filed his nomination before the Vigilance deputy Director in Thiruvananthapuram collectorate. Meanwhile BJP candidate O. Rajagopal will file his papers on May 16, the last day for submitting nomination papers.
LDF candidate F. Lawrence, filed his nomination papers on Thursday. As per the affidavit filed along with the nomination, he and members of his family, have assets worth `31.2 lakh.
Meanwhile the Election Commission has ordered to remove all the flex boards and billboards from public places.
