Vijayaraghavan Puraskaram for T N Gopakumar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Asianet editor-in-chief T N Gopakumar has bagged this year’s K Vijayaraghavan Memorial Puraskaram for his contributions to the media field. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000, plaque and a citation. The award would be presented to him by Defence Minister A K Antony on November 17 at a function held at the Press Cub, said K Vijayaraghavan Memorial Panel president N Ramachandran and secretary K G Parameswaran Nair.

He was selected for the award by a panel consisting of Kerala Kaumudi editorial advisor N Ramachandran.

The award is constituted in memory of noted journalist K Vijayaraghavan, who was the associate editor of Kerala Kaumudi.
