Vilappilsala: Court directs to implement order
KOCHI: A bench chaired by Chief Justice Manjula Chellur asked the government to implement the Kerala High Court order on the Vilappilsala garbage issue. While considering the mass pleas, the court asked whether government facilities are so weak that they cannot implement the order.
The court rejected government’s demand seeking three months’ time to solve the issue. The court directed the government to function without politicising the issue.
Following public ire, transport machinery to the leachate treatment plant could not be unloaded from the trucks.
