THRISSUR: The travel expenses details of Uthara Unni, daughter of Urmila Unni, with Saritha S Nair, second accused in the solar panel case, have been revealed. She had travelled many times to places like Chennai and New Delhi with Saritha.
The role of the actress in the scam is suspicious. The actress had posted in her Facebook page that she has been selected as the brand ambassador the Team Solar based in UK and also expressed her gratitude to its MD R B Nair and Lekshmi.
The special investigating team is likely to question her after her links with Saritha have been exposed. Her role in the scam will also be examined. The team will also examine whether the actress accidentally fell into Saritha’s trap.
When contacted her mother and actress Urmila Unni said that her daughter cooperated with the solar company as a model. Apart from that she has no links with the accused, said Urmila Unni.
