Lorry crashes into ladies hostel
KOLLAM: A container lorry proceeding from Bharanikavu towards Kottarakara crashed into a ladies hostel at 2 am on Sunday. The building suffered damages. The lorry was returning to Ernakulam from Kunnathur. The hostel for women from the Scheduled Communities is located at Attukadavu junction. There were 22 inmates and staff members in the hostel at the time of the accident. The driver was under the influence of alcohol.
