Friday, January 06, 2012: Opposition leader and CPM stalwart VS Achuthanandan on Friday accused the state government of being biased on the Mullaperiyar dam issue and the Kochi metro rail project.Speaking to the reporters here on Friday, Achuthanandan added that the government’s attitude will adversely affect Kerala’s interests. The government had not even had a word with the opposition on its proposal on joint control of the proposed new dam on the Mullaperiyar issue, which has seen Kerala and Tamil Nadu at loggerheads, he said.
VS also alleged that a move was on to exclude E Sreedharan from the much awaited Kochi metro rail project.
