Youth falls off train, dies in Thiruvalla

Monday, January 23, 2012: In a gruesome incident, a 21-year-old youth was killed after falling from a platform at Thiruvalla railway station, where he was trying to catch a train, on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Atul R Thomas, hailing from Valakom, police told. Atul reportedly fell between a train and the platform and was killed as the train left the station. He was confirmed dead at the scene.
