Saturday, January 21, 2012: Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan on Saturday sought a CBI probe into the second Marad riot case.Addressing a press meet here, Achuthanandan alleged that the decision of the previous LDF Government to leave the case to the CBI was sabotaged by the UDF.
The investigating officials were dissolved when the CBI probe reached a crucial stage. VS asked the chief minister to clarify whether they were dissolved as the probe would move towards them.
