T’puram: Fire breaks out at rubber sheet godown

Saturday, January 21, 2012: Rubber sheet worth Rs 1 crore was gutted in the fire which broke out in the godown early Saturday morning. The godown was owned by Abdul Rehman of Pangode.
Local residents of the area noticed the fire in the godown near Paluvally and alerted the concerned. The complete sheet stored in the godown was gutted in the fire and the building has also been completely destroyed. Fire force from Nedumangad and Kadakkal extinguished the fire later.
